A Wedding present for Velma

Velvet Velma waltz the isle

In her colourful glam frocks

Chanted vows to a heart thud

Tolling bells to a sweet soul

With poise, exudes fondness

Virtuous Velma and violet

Hail heiress to warm heaths

Cordially we embrace pretty

As a royalty to our home petit

Honour from all the kindred

To a elegant bride Velma

Waltz home vanilla Velma

Our hearts are delighted

For the eagle eye of a kith which

Fetched home a valuable lilac

And gave elation to our souls

Welcome to our home Princess Velma

Harmattan Christmas

I dreamt yes I did of

Mysterious trade winds

Bearing saintly carols

On the arms of warm winds

Tearing tendon of memories

Mums warmly handing bowls

Half full of festive meals

I dreamt yes I did of

Aromas serenading the air

Afloat tops of leafless trees

Curvy waists with vibrant beads

Glowed and tarried into the nights

To be ferried beyond time

I dreamt yes I did of

Brown dried crispy leaves

On humid floors scattering

Singing loud tuneful songs

As weary feet pressed on

Families at the heath gather

In festive delight chatter

Now I moaned yes I do

As the storms surged with no carols

And folks ripped turkeys at home

Memories long ago departed

Of toned legs of zestful beauties

The leaves here is soggy

And Christmas is white and tuneless

Have a Heavenly birthday my Ellen

Have a Heavenly birthday my Ellen

With this verse I chant your grace

Blossoming Lilies in fields afar
...
Petals; sparkling bright and calm

With immaculate magnetism

Crimson adoring hue

Flawless pearly cue

Faultless elegance, spotless Ellen

Trinket extra precious and pure

Lustrous and adorable marvel

Gleaming purity and palpable

Delightful crystal chaste less culpable

Let this special event my Eden

That falls on Wednesday - my day too

Assert your intense allure

Gleaming beauty with no parity

Charms so glamorous and glorious

With this rhyme my aeon

I announced my adore

Have a blissful birthday my emerald

A jolly birthday Brenda

Blend Brenda bend with the bleating beeps
Surfers stunned and heart bleeding deep
Smiles you gave brought joy to keep
Distress souls thronged your side to peep
Satisfied they went and to many they bleep

Benyiwa bunny waxing petit belle
Pearly pear greenish and bear
Eager, creamy yoke with no peer
Friend early listed on my grace book
Illuminates near and far on face book

Brenda burning furnace fair
Roaring your brightness in furred pair
Celebrate birth stylishly and dare
Bosom ones to feast occasion so dear
Honour brought they to poise life’s daily fear

A joyous birthday Brenda

A birthday poem for Millicent

Meek Millie with milky heart of the Milky Way
Mild and tender; pure in the inward
Blazed; a gemstone at the outward
Seek you not of self but others first
Love so feral you bestow best

Decency bathed in sunny pools
Shine to all within reach of the moon
Succour found in ideas preached
To your feet come they for a treat
Yet none’s liberty you breached

Millicent, sweet scented centrosema
Glamorous, obvious and courteous
Friends you hold so precious
Millie milked mum to birth memorize
A stanza from me a unique day to sermonise

Blissful Birthday Millie of the meek

A birthday line for Yaa Ameyaa

Chant a rhyme; chant a line for
Chantelle my chandelier-shining cast
Sparkle sparks; illuminates parks vast
Charms exuding flares fairer fast
A tiara glittering with glistering last
Worn with pride; displaying gems past

Vivacious Vivienne of the vine fields far
Your immeasurable daintiness dearly valued
A royal to the heart burning with devoured desire
Buried in the bowels of requests unfulfilled
Yet beyond reach you lurked unfilled
Knock I must, else the fiend finds

I would weave yards of yarn for Yaa Ameyaa
From fibres yanked from tissues of the heart
A purple drape for her furry and a harp
To play a tune to honour her day and a rap
As she celebrate life aside with me apart

Happy Birthday Maame Yaa Ameyaa

For Comfort on her birthday

Calm Comfort, burgeon purring purr

Zestful bouquet, blue tempting pet

The earth to beat shines illusion

Petals untainted, crisom enduring

Scatter asunder them with evil entice

Etonam numbs the desires sweltering

Heeded her though to their dawn cooing

None she wanted except for Jonathan

No to diner in perilous lairs fancied

Irretrievable trinket to conserve

Pretty; petit perfect purely pearl

A comfort to souls lost in solid tears

Joy to all she cherished so dear

A light to feet groping in tunnel dark

Virtuous dame no grudges bear

Etornam perceived hum of mind

A glassy gate carve up on beat

Beckons divine ones to gather

A princess to celebrate time beloved

Make known as party table laid

Etonam, this is for your day to brace
